Surah Luqman : Ayat 19
19
وَاقْصِدْ فِي مَشْيِكَ
وَاغْضُضْ مِن صَوْتِكَ إِنَّ أَنكَرَ الْأَصْوَاتِ لَصَوْتُ الْحَمِيرِ
Melayu: "Dan sederhanakanlah langkahmu semasa berjalan, juga rendahkanlah suaramu (semasa berkata-kata), sesungguhnya seburuk-buruk suara ialah suara keldai".
English: Be modest in thy bearing and subdue thy voice . Lo! in harshest of all voices is the voice of the ass .
中文: 你应当节制你的步伐，你应当抑制你的声音；最讨厌的声音，确是驴子的声音。”
